PROTSAAH Zurich

PROTSAAH is a Zürich-based design house creating fine jewelry and handwoven Kashmir pashmina, designed by Salonie Shrestha and handcrafted by artisans across Lhasa, Kashmir and Jaipur: women silversmiths in Lhasa, weavers and women embroiderers in Kashmir, and goldsmiths and lapidarists in Jaipur. Our pashmina is spun only with the finest yarn from Ladakh, then hand-spun and handwoven thread by thread; our jewelry is cut, set and finished entirely by hand in recycled silver. This means encouraging these crafts and valuing them as a precious part of our heritage — which is what our name, PROTSAAH, means in Sanskrit: encouragement.
