Ahimsa Collective
Ahimsa Collective was founded by passionate and determined change agents, adamant to prove that Sustainability and Luxury-goods can co-exist. Our mission is to disrupt the Carry-goods Industry, providing a Sustainable alternative to the Leather and PU accessories market.
Prior to our offering, the only Handbags and Accessories available were made from Animal Leather or Polyurethane - AKA Pleather. Both are incredibly harmful to the Planet and both contribute greatly to the increasing effects of Climate Change. It seemed non-sensical to us that there were no options to service both our Environmental ethos as well as our Animal-rights values.
Our intention was to offer a bag that was not only environmentally friendly but environmentally beneficial. To do this, we produce Handbags out of existing resources, would-be-waste, and innovative Plant-based Textiles.
We believe it is no longer enough to avoid causing damage to the planet. We need to actively reverse it.
