SUTRAM is an ode to the bed - a celebration of crisp cotton, colour and the many varied modes of life - punctuated always by sleep. Founded with a deep respect for craft, community and our resources, we support responsible suppliers and regenerative farming practices - sourcing the 100% organic, GOTS and Fairtrade certified cotton for our sheets from a collective of 15,000 small-scale farmers across the Maharashtra, Odessa and Andra Pradesh regions of India. With proper crop rotation and without GMO seeds, harmful fertilizers and pesticides, the sad story of cotton farming under resource-hungry industrial methods can be flipped - promoting healthier bio-diverse soils that can store more carbon. SUTRAM uses only azo-free non-toxic dyes, better for workers and our sleepers alike.
