Inspired by the Talavera tiles and ceramic pieces he has worked with and using the color cobalt blue as a common thread, his work is extravagant in that you always have to look twice. His series Ventana Tropical develops his singular iconography, the volcanoes that bring life from the centre of the earth, with allusions to classic science fiction cinema.
