Transitional Dressing with Kasia Chinery

by Wolf & Badger

Model and co-founder of East London based floristry Gloria Studio, Kasia is the girl next door that everybody wants to know.

With a keen interest in floristry, Kasia started working at a floral studio a few years ago, where she met her now business partner. Together, the two female founders opened Gloria Studio, named after their favorite Patti Smith song. Kasia’s unique 70’s inspired sense of style, combined with her creative eye, makes her the ultimate fashion muse. She recently chose her favorite Wolf & Badger picks for the new season, and explained how to dress for this tricky, transitional weather.

Firstly, Kasia chose this knitted sweater vest from Danish designer, 1 People. The perfect shade of cream, this piece's versatility is ideal for scandi-inspired transitional layering. Neutrals are still having a moment this season, and can be paired with almost anything. Adding depth to any outfit, it can be worn alone or laid over a poplin shirt for a more preppy look.

Pairing the vest with white linen oversized trousers from Balou, and chunky sandals, Kasia has created a perfect outfit formula. With trousers that are lightweight and breathable combined with a cosier top half, it’s a faultless combination of cool for the midday highs but warm enough for when the temperature dips. Throw on a beige trench coat and boots, and this outfit will easily see you through to the end of the year.

By combining shades of the same color, Kasia exudes sophistication with this everyday outfit. Transitional neutrals are a failsafe blueprint to looking put together and confident, without the hassle of thinking too much.
