'Planetarium' is a unique silk pocket in red with polka dots of varying sizes in two shades of blue. It is finished with a hand-sewn hem. It is a fresh take on a classic design from 1929 discovered in the archives of the UK's leading silk printer. The name 'Planetarium' was inspired by the design, which brings to mind the night sky with its stars of differing sizes and brightness.
Printed in Macclesfield, the home of English silk printing, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of color between the printed & reverse sides to work with any fold. The pocket square is finished by hand-rolling & hand-sewing the edges to create the distinctive 'shoestring' hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42cm x 42cm/16.5” x 16.5”).
