Apply a high quality leather protector (or a suede protector, for suede) to the entire upper of your shoe, taking care to follow the instructions on the label. Store your shoes in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.

Use the Elizée dustbag to keep them clean and protected. When the rubber tips on heels start to wear down, take them to be professionally replaced.
