HCR

Bold and bright knitwear hand-finished and made in London. HCR is the first solo venture from London-based knitwear designer Harrison Winter. Family is at the heart of everything at HCR. Old family photos of grandparents skiing in the 1950s inspired the AW15 collection, Arrows; that’s why we created a new set of family photos for the lookbook. All pieces are modelled by designer Harrison Winter’s family. Arrows draws on the clean lines and bold colors of sportswear from the 50s, 60s and 70s, taking inspiration from styles that are still versatile today, as both sports and streetwear. Texture has been used in place of pattern to add detailing that evokes energy and movement. Our hats are uniquely structured and have a distinctive cross pattern on top as, unusually, the hats are knitted flat and given shape by seaming. Our scarves, joined in a loop and intended to be worn wrapped once over the head, are perfect for wearing while active whether it’s cycling around town or skiing in the mountains. All pieces are designed and handmade in our studio in London, made using 100% lamb’s wool and hand-finished to ensure their quality.
