Mimata was founded in 2009 by Portugese jewelry designer Joana Mieiro. Her design aesthetic and colors are often inspired by her surroundings in her home country of Portugal. She designs pieces for modern women that embody femininity and strength. This is reflected in her jewelry which is both delicate and glamorous. All pieces are designed and made in Portugal.
