Once Upon an Artisan is an ethical alpaca knitwear brand made in Peru. At OUAA we celebrate artisanal craftsmanship and natural fibres. All our pieces are hand-knitted by a small group of women, using the highest quality alpaca. We believe that a sustainable lifestyle, where decisions are made consciously, is possible. Karina Davila, the Peruvian founder of Once Upon an Artisan, is strongly passionate about the natural world and the textile heritage of her native Peru. OUAA is the result of her passion for traditional artisanal techniques and her willingness to contribute to a more sustainable world.
