VAIDAVA CERAMICS has been a family-owned and operated business since 1980. We’re choosing to stay true to our roots and still create tableware, vases, and pots with generational methods by hand. This is something mass production can’t replace. Our workshop is located in the scenic Gauja National Park in the heart of Northern Europe. As a part of this ecosystem, our goal is to protect the unique values of the Gauja Valley and its surroundings. Our employees are local craftsmen and working with clay is their greatest passion. We use locally sourced Latvian red clay. Its distinctive red color is caused by iron oxide in the clay. The clay is known for its exceptional quality and has been prized by potters and ceramics artists for centuries. It is also highly durable and resistant to heat.
