Hand-dyed freehand by artisans in Nha Xa, Vietnam's 800-year-old silk village — brush to silk, color to color — so no two emerge the same. Woven from 100% pure mulberry habotai silk (10 momme), dyed in small batches and dried in open air on bamboo frames. At 85 × 180 cm it wears as a shoulder wrap, a soft collar knot or draped across a bag, day into evening. Arrives in Silk & Bears gift packaging; silk is the traditional 12th-anniversary gift. Your scarf is woven and dyed entirely by hand — the fine slubs and tonal variations of hand-loomed silk are hallmarks of authenticity prized by collectors. Hand wash cool with a silk-friendly detergent. As artisan dyes settle on the first wash, rinse the scarf alone the first time. Do not soak or wring. Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sun. Iron on low with a pressing cloth.

Founder Tran Rex, a Vietnamese artisan and mother based in the UK, learned silk dyeing and hand embroidery through her family, and works today with master weavers using techniques unchanged for generations: traditional looms, small-batch natural dyeing, silk dried in the open air on bamboo frames.
