The first burn - during the first burn, allow your candle to create a full melt pool, which means the wax has melted completely to the edges of the container this usually takes about 2-4 hours, depending on the candle size.

Clean the wax - before each subsequent use, ensure there is no debris, matches, or wick trimmings in the wax pool. Remove any such materials before relighting the candle.

Trim the wick - your wick should be about ¼ inch (0.6 cm) in length each time you light. This helps prevent excessive flickering, mushrooming, and soot buildup and long wicks can also cause the candle to burn faster!

Burn in intervals - after your first burn, we recommended to burn your candle in intervals of 2-3 hours at a time. This prevents your candle from getting too hot and extends burn life.

Extinguishing properly - when you're ready to extinguish the candle, use a snuffer or gently blow it out. Wax can easily spill when melted, make sure to cool and then apply the cap securely.

Storage - store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Exposure to heat or sunlight for extended periods can cause the candles to melt or fade.

Remember to reuse and recylce - when the wick is burnt away, clean your vessel with warm water. Remove all the wax, remove the wick base. Refuse or recycle your clean vessel - remember to recycle your packaging too!
