Product Details

This gorgeous, soft and cool chunky cardigan is hand knitted in Sri Lanka. The yarn is sent from Norway to a Norwegian-run company in Sri Lanka. The company is focusing on training and giving women a chance to get work with a guaranteed minimom wage, pension and a community spirit.

The cardigan is supposed to be a bit oversized and is very cool worn over a pretty summer dress.

73% Mohair, 22% Wool, 5% Polyamid. The yarn is produced in Italy for a Norwegian based company. And the cardigans are knitted in Sri Lanka.

Hand wash cold or in washing machine on wool program with mild wool detergent and softener.
Spin on low cycle, stretch lightly into shape and dry flat. Store folded.

Due to the high content of mohair, we see that the jackets shed a little at the start, if this is a problem, you can put the jacket in the freezer overnight and shake well afterward. Put the garment in a bag that you can close tightly, either with a tie or zip, so that it does not mix with the food in the freezer. After a night in the freezer, you take it out and shake well. Remove any loose hair that remains with a lint roller.
