When storing the jewelry:

Keep your silver jewelry in an airtight container when not wearing. This will protect it from humidity and oxidation caused by air. Oils from your skin will otherwise help protect the jewelry when wearing.

When using the jewelry:

Avoid contact with chemicals, makeup, perfume lotions and chlorine. Do not use corrosive dips or abrasive cleaners on your jewelry. To clean and brighten up your sterling silver pieces, wipe them gently with jewelry polishing cloth or warm water and dish soap.
