Product Details

A vintage rupee coin with George V, King of England and Emperor of India on the reverse. Tracy sources these vintage coins in India, and adapts them into gold plated pendants.
Our jewelry is set in silver, plated in 18 carat gold vermeil. The plating is equivalent to 3 microns of gold.

Pendant size: 2.5cm diameter

We plate our jewelry in 3 microns of 18 carat gold vermeil. We recommend removing the jewelry when bathing or swimming to ensure the vermeil plating is long lasting.
We also recommend that you avoid spraying perfume on or near the jewelry.

Opium Jewels was created more than 20 years ago by jewelry designer, Tracy Kitching. She visits India twice a year to work with a family of jewellers and skilled artisans to create her collection of handmade, delicate jewelry pieces in precious and semi-precious stones, set in 18 carat gold vermeil on silver.
Tracy also creates a collection of Vintage Amulet jewelry. Each a unique piece of jewelry, she personally sources each protection amulet and re-designs them into necklaces, bracelets and rings.

Her latest designs include a collection of Birthstone Hamsa necklaces and earrings. Birthstones for each month of the year set into a beautiful gold plated Hamsa design.

The collection is affordable and yet has a quality usually only seen in solid 18 carat gold jewelry.
