Unlike traditional fabric dyeing, which involves soaking the fabric in a dye solution, sublimation printing involves transferring ink onto the fabric using heat and pressure. Sublimation printing is also more eco-friendly than traditional fabric dyeing. The traditional dyeing process requires a large amount of water and produces a significant amount of wastewater, which can have a negative impact on the environment. In contrast, sublimation printing uses very little water, and there is no wastewater produced during the printing process.
