The metal is recycled brass with one micron of recycled 18k gold vermeil. The reason we use brass on some of our bangles is that should the gold start to wear off it will show far less on brass than on silver.
Care should be taken when putting this bracelet on or taking it off, as it bends side ways and slips on, it cannot be pulled apart.
