Before cleaning, remove the shoelaces and wash them separately. Gently spot-clean the canvas with a mixture of a small amount of detergent or dish liquid and water, using a soft cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Stuff the shoes with white tissue paper or use a shoe mold for shape and let them air dry away from direct sunlight and heat. Store in a dry, temperate area to avoid mold. Use a suede protector spray on suede areas before first wear to repel dirt and water. Maintain with a suede brush, and for tough marks, use the brush's rubber side.
