Makers Cabinet was started by three Central Saint Martins Product Design students, with the dream of making the world's best pencil sharpener, via a launch crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
Fast forward seven years and Makers Cabinet have a range of high-quality drawing and writing tools which last a lifetime or more.
This includes the Høvel pencil plane, Iris drawing compass, Stria folding ruler and Ferrule pencil extender. Makers Cabinet products are machined from solid brass and designed to patina, improving with time and use.
The accessories protect and serve each product with high-quality leather sheaths made in Italy, and American Walnut bases.
Makers Cabinet seeks out the best quality producers and collaborates to create tools to be cherished and gifted.
