Newgate Watches

Iconic British clock makers Newgate have just opened a watch department and are creating remarkable watches born from the same design stable and DNA. Their watches are based partly on British clocks with familiar hands, dials and details such as their red under leather straps. Extravagant in size, Newgate’s designer Jim Read insisted upon making the watch a significant feature to compliment your wrist as one of their clocks would your wall. Read describes his premier range as an oasis of Britishness in a sea of watch sameness.
