Create A Wardrobe With No Bounds With Cassandra Dittmer

by Cassandra Dittmer

It’s been a minute since we have been able to travel, attend events, weddings and festivals. Now that these options are open to us, I wanted to share some ideas for those of you that want to take your wardrobe to the next level and create some show-stopping statement looks.

I’ve curated some top styling tips to help create bold looks that are designed to express your creativity, and outfits that make you feel your very best, and hopefully form the basis to create special memories with friends and family.

I think it’s time we had fun with our wardrobes, challenge how we wear our everyday pieces and push those boundaries!

Tip 1- Don’t be afraid to mix prints

If you have a printed piece, embrace it by pairing it with another print piece for a statement look. Try to look for color tones that complement each other if you can, but I really encourage you to go wild and try out all of your prints and see what makes you feel your best.  Prints can be so personal and unique, so you really don’t know until you try- so give it a go!

Tip 2- Commit to the look

We all have plenty of denim in our closets. To bring a new spin on your favorite pieces, try going for a full denim look. The denim doesn’t need to be the exact same shade, so pull it all out and have fun trying different variations. You can always add accent accessories to break up all the blue like a fun bag or a statement belt. Going double denim is such a great way to challenge your everyday jeans and shirts, and you get a fresh new look without having to invest in buying anything new. It’s a win-win!

Tip 3- It’s ok to mix & match aesthetics

If you have more classic items in your wardrobe, whether it’s a button-down shirt, cardigan, or headscarf, have fun incorporating these pieces with other prints and more playful items from your wardrobe. Mixing up genres and styles in one look is a great way to create a truly unique outfit, and again get more longevity from your wardrobe.
